Stone & Wood is an independent real estate agency located in the heart of Annecy. Founded in 2014, our mission has remained the same since the beginning: to find unique properties and provide comprehensive, personalised support. Putting people at the heart of real estate relationships, we take the time to get to know our clients and focus on marketing by showcasing each property for sale as if it were our own.

Our history

Stone & Wood was founded in 2014 by Lonni Carteron, a native of Annecy. For over 10 years, our team have been committed to providing you with comprehensive support. Our approach, based on transparency and attentiveness, along with our expertise and deep knowledge of the region, has earned the trust of our clients.

Initially established near the Swiss border to assist cross-border workers and expatriates with their real estate projects, our services and geographic scope have since expanded to meet the diverse needs of our clients. With a team of 10 dedicated professionals, Stone & Wood remains a humain-sized agency that guides you through the sale or purchase of your primary residence, secondary home, or investment property.

Our mission is to offer high-quality homes distinguished by their character, history, architecture, or the environment and lifestyle they provide. Our in-depth expertise in the real estate markets of Annecy, the Aravis, Lake Bourget, and the Geneva border area enables us to support our clients in buying and selling unique and varied properties: villas, farmhouses, charming apartments, luxury residences, and exceptional chalets in the Alps.

We also specialize in the acquisition and sale of hotels, guesthouses, and other investment projects.

Our services: free and non-binding property valuations, sales and property search mandates, tailored sales strategies for your property, local and international marketing, legal and technical assistance, and access to our trusted network of partners (brokers, surveyors, etc.).

For our team, every property is unique and requires an individualized approach, always putting the client first. With regular updates, expert advice, and a dedicated team, we are here to assist you. To maintain confidentiality, not all our listings are published. We handle some projects off-market.

Our office

After Archamps in the Geneva area and Groisy along the Annecy-Geneva axis, the team settled in Annecy in 2019. In 2023, Stone & Wood established its headquarters in a beautiful manor house just steps from the city center. This unique and strategically central location allows us to cater to client needs across Lake Annecy, Lake Geneva, Lake Bourget, and the surrounding mountains.

Since January 2025, construction has begun on our new office building. Designed to accommodate our growing team and welcome our clients in optimal conditions, this space will feature a timber structure, zinc roofing, and a mix of understated and eco-friendly materials nestled within a landscaped park. We look forward to sharing the different stages of this ambitious project with you.
